There are many aspects of ourselves.
We must consider them all in our safety and wellness endeavors.
Ki Do Kwan - Group Fitness Classes
Ki Do Kwan
The Korean translation of Ki (pronounced key) is life force, or energy. Do (pronounced dough) is the way. Kwan translates as a school or institute. Simply put, Ki Do Kwan is (the) Institute for the Way of Energy.
Ki Do Kwan is a place of healing, power and discovery. Its practice is simple yet profound. Its movements, philosophies and meditations are adapted and designed for ones mental/emotional, spiritual and physical protection.
Its acknowledgement and adaptation results in greater health, safety, strength and resolve. It promotes a clearer perception of the universe and yourself, with the ultimate understanding that they are one and the same.
Ki Do Kwan teaches that this life force energy is all around us and within us; it is all-powerful, yet pastoral; invisible, yet undeniable. It is to be realized, allowed, cultivated, and utilized for our mental/emotional, physical and spiritual well being.
There are several ways that we may cultivate this ki (also referred to as chi or qi in Chinese and prana in Sanskrit) and they include our group classes in the following:
