This Time On The Making Of...:
Plotting and Scheming.
There's like four people who even read this site, so hey, you guys.  Thanks.  Tell your friends.  Tell your enemies.  MAKE THEM SEE THE LIGHT!!!  CONVERT THEM TO THE CHICKEN EMPIRE!!!!  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!

erm... sorry.  What I meant to say was:

Today, we're going to learn about plots.  This is difficult to go into for a couple reasons.
1)This comic is the first time I've ever tried to create a plot, so there's at least a 50/50 chance this information is all crap.
2) I'll have to use really vague example so as to avoid giving out too many SPOILERS, thus increasing the chances that at least three of the four of you actually READ this comic eventually.

With that in mind, here we go...

What is A Plot?
If you watch a lot of Hollywood-Type movies (movies with budgets), you see pretty basic examples of Plotting. A good example goes like this: There's a Guy who's got to go get the Plot Device (or "MacGuffin," as they're sometimes called) in order to somehow use said Plot Device to stop the Bad Guy from getting away with his Evil Scheme, thereby saving the World from Destruction.  Sometimes, this formula includes a Girl, and sometimes (GASP) she's the MacGuffin.  (Warning:  I've just spoiled the plots for Titan A.E., Mission Impossible 2, the Star Wars films except for Empire Strikes Back, and every single Michael Bay-Jerry Bruckheimer movie)

Now, since there've been like a million Bond movies (and assorted knockoffs thereof), we've all seen this plot a million-zillion-squintillion times.  So you've got to customize it to suit your purposes.  This is where your own style (personality, mental disorders, addictions, obsessions, predjudices) comes in.

For Instance:

-Guy gets the MacGuffin, but it blows his hands off, thus making it very hard to use the MacGuffin against the Bad Guy, or even tie his own shoes; Bad Guy Destroys the World.
-Guy gets MacGuffin, finds Bad Guy, but fails to use it correctly, thus Destroying the World.
-Guy gets distracted by Girl, ignores MacGuffin, ignores Bad Guy, ignores Destruction of World. (this is known as a "Plot Twist")
-Guy searches for the MacGuffin while being pursued by the Bad Guys, meets the Girl, meets the MacGuffin, who's actually a Guy (Guy2) who shows the first Guy (Guy1) that the Bad Guys actually Destroyed the World a Long Time Ago, and We're all living in Virtual Reality.  (This is known as "The Matrix")

So, there you have it.  That's what the hold-up on this comic is right now.  Silly, huh?  I'm having issues with my MacGuffin, and I don't know who the Bad Guy is, but it's a safe bet someones's going to Destroy the World.

Hee hee.  Earth go Boom.
