John 12
9 Meanwhile a large crowd of Jews found out that Jesus was there and came, not only because of him but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.
10 So the chief priests made plans to kill Lazarus as well,
11 for on account of him many of the Jews were going over to Jesus and putting their faith in him.

What have we done do bring people to Christ? We were raised up from the death of sin, and made new again... What have we done to make ourselves an enemy of the devil and his demons? If nothing, why? The devil was defeated when Jesus died on the cross, and rose again.

Think of someone whom you thought would or could never get saved, but did... Isn't that a wonderful testimony to the power of Jesus? How many people have they affected since then? How many people have been pulled from darkness because of them? It tarnishes the image of evil a little bit when one of the "baddest" people turns their life around, doesn't it?

A Kingdom divided against itself cannot stand, but will fall. So, I would say that the devil would try to prevent people from leaving his grasp; from deceit, to discrediting people and churches, to oppressive government, and probably many other things.. After all, he comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

"Although China's constitution guarantees freedom of religion, churches are under strict guidelines and only grudgingly tolerated. Religious leaders place the number of Catholics and Protestants attending officially-sanctioned churches at 12 million, but it is believed that the number flocking to underground churches and other religious facilities is estimated to be up to 80 million. http://www.tibet.ca/en/wtnarchive/1995/1/7_1.html "

If God is in it, it can't be stopped. As the Newsboys say in their song, "He Reigns":
And all the powers of darkness,
Tremble at what they've just heard,
Cause all the powers of darkness ,
Can't drown out a single word.
When all God's children sing out
Glory, Glory, Hallelujah, He Reigns...

So, sing praise to God for all He has done, and all He has yet to do, in your life. For all those who have come to know Jesus, and all those they have influenced. And that God's love is immeasurable and unstoppable.

Did you feel the darkness tremble?
When all the saints join in one song
And all the streams flow as one river
To wash away our brokeness
