As I stand here in the desert
I hear the giant calling out my name
He tries to tell me You're not big enough
That You're distant and far away.
But I know that's not true...
All around me run in fear
But You, oh Lord, draw me near
You help me back up
As I stumble under my load
You ask me to deny myself
And take up Your yoke
For Your yoke is easy
and Your burden light.
So now, I stand before the giant
With my little stone --- my faith ---
Seeming at times scarcely more than a mustard seed
And I step out of the boat
And I walk through the storm
The lightning crashes around me
The waves surge beneath me
But, as I walk through the raging sea,
I know I will make it through alright
As long as I focus on You.
