and what else you may need to make your computer usable for you.

How to Find and Organize Your Files
Learn how to use the
tools that help you find your files, how recognize what program a file was
created by, how to create folders, how to move, copy and rename files and
lastly how to get organized while saving your files.
Learn the suggested maintenance schedule to help your computer last the longest. We will take a look inside a typical desktop computer and identify the common components and identify those that need to be serviced to promote long life. Most of these maintenance suggestions can be done by anyone; some are for those who are more confident in their skills.
Learn what a browser
is and what tools and techniques you need to use the Internet safely. We will also look at some search engines, how
to use them to find and locate desired information. Learn about spam, phishing and other Internet pitfalls and problems.
Learn about getting and setting up a free email account (we will look at several places to get one). Learn how to compose, reply, and forward emails. Learn how, what and when to send file attachments to others.
