My 21st Birthday
On Friday 21st November 1997 I celebrated my 21st birthday in Cheltenham. I began by going into College for a lecture. When I got back home later, my housemates (Steph and Sarah) had decorated the living-room with banners and balloons. They also presented a cake to me, which they'd bought, of Taz the Tasmanian Devil. I already had Taz mugs and Taz socks.
Anyway, I was joined in the evening by Andy, Jon and Matt (who'd come up from Pinner), and Dan (who'd only come from the otherside of Cheltenham. Later on we were joined by Mark Hill (a fashion student from Hinckley), Greg Woolly (a countryside planning student from Derby), Alan Hale (the tattooist) and bumped into a load more people.
We started off in O'Hagan's at the top of the High Street. Then went down to Pepper's, where I had a Long Island Iced Tea, then into Dobells were I had a cigar and sign placed on my back inviting passers by to something to my arse. After we left the pub, Matt rammed my head into a lamp-post, and then I got tied to the railings outside Midland Bank and got covered with shaving foam and silly string (Thanks so-called 'mates'!). Then we went up to The Attic where I moshed to everything from AC/DC to White Zombie.
These photos are of - Me, Andy, Matt, Dan and Mark in Dobells; Me (on railings), Greg, Jon and Matt outside Midland Bank; Me on floor; Me and Andy in The Attic.
