Walk with me
Upon my road;
Cast your shoes,
Reveal the flesh

To connect,
To know the code.
Click on Stop,
Then hit Refresh.

The flame roars
On either side,
And us,
Stuck in-between.

Stranded here
Without a guide;
Forgotten
To be seen.

Rip the drapes,
Break the door,
Shoot all
Who would resist

They don’t hear you
Anymore.
Still, you might as well
Persist.

Since suicide’s
A naughty word;
A creature of
Misdeed,

Sit and wait
Till truth is blurred
Enough
To proceed.

Your body broke
Right at the start,
Your thoughts;
A saddened wraith.

Your body broke,
But not your heart;
For there is held
Your faith. Poem: Walk With Me 1
