“Let me hold you and touch you and feel you,” they say.
“I’m sorry I hurt you, mislead you, met you,” they say.
“Forever, whenever, wherever.”
And regardless of sincerity,
They’ve made a formula of the holiest thing—
The force behind “I love you”.
There is everything to write about,
This place is pretty big.
And yes, it all comes back to Love sooner or later,
But at least be halfway clever about it!
You’ve managed to drown water
With your blunt approach!
And I swear, the smallest of the reasons I write this now
Is because I’m maybe possibly the tiniest bit
Jealous.
