Phase 1 analysis of
College website
PHASE I
Phase 1 is all about the
mission of the website. What is it all about? It takes care of the background
information, the who, what, when, where, why and how. Taking for example we will
criticize a CUNY @ Brooklyn College...
It seem that the web
site is well presented.
about BC:
Brooklyn College is a member unit of the
City University of New York, the nation's leading public urban university. The
university comprises eleven senior colleges, six community colleges, a graduate
school, a law school, and a medical school. More than 200,000 students are
enrolled in the academic programs offered at campuses located throughout the
five boroughs of New York City.
If
you scrolled down to the bottom of the page, the location is widely visible.
Uniqueness and special
features:
Centering
the content is nice and very presentable. is has a photo album that shows a
different picture every time you get to the web site. I believe that it changes
to.
Weakness:
I
personally that school website that requires me to scroll down because the
have to much to say on the main page is weak. Keep it together where it is
nicely presented on a full page.

Competitiveness:
quality, cost, differentiation
well I believe that they minimize their
cost a lot. At the end of the web site it says that it is powered by:
http://infotech.brooklyn.cuny.edu/
and this is the address of the computer lab. that is very cost effective.
Domain name, Your own
domain
The actual web address is:
http://www.brooklyn.cuny.edu/. so
they did incorporate their name,
