We offer a service for some novice computer users who are not very familiar with the computing environment. Our sessions usually include:

  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Windows environment, such as the file structure, the start menu, changing desktop background pictures and the control panel.
  • Using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • How to burn a CD or DVD?
  • How to transfer music to an MP3 player?
  • How to use a printer?
  • How to use a scanner?
  • How to access email?
  • How to transfer pictures from a digital camera?
  • Proper means of turning a computer on and off.
  • How to download music and software?
  • How to properly maintain a computer?

What we can not do is:

  • Demonstrate how to download pirated music and software
  • Demonstrate how to use lesser known software programs
  • Demonstrate how to use more perplexing software applications such as Adobe Photoshop or Auto Cad.
  • Demonstrate how to install or modify component(s) inside of a computer.
