Being the first featured car isn't always an easy task. The spotlight is on you, and you must set the stage for everyone else. The pressure is high, but what better candidate for this type of ordeal than Gavin Tang in his 1996 Honda Civic DX.

When you take a look at the outer shell you can see right away that this is no ordinary Civic. The stunning look comes from a Mugen bodykit which wraps itself around the entire body. Not only does this help the physical appearance of the Civic, but the functional lip that lies on the front bumper aids in getting the Civic through the air smoothly.

In today's world you can't look good with just a bodykit. Everything must flow in sequence to create the most appealing ride for both the owner and the souls who look upon it. Gavin's Civic rolls on a set of 16" ADR GT Sport wheels which not only look good, but are lightweight and aid the Civic in getting around cones on the track. Getting around the track not only requires a nice set of wheels, but also a properly tuned suspension. This Civic is fitted with KYB AGX adjustable gas shocks and H&R Sport springs which helps it accelerate, brake, and corner faster and harder than most Civics you will see on the road. Sounding good is just as important as looking good and this Civic has both. The rumble from the exterior comes from a HKS short ram intake and out the back is a Stromung exhaust. The passengers get a different perspective on the sound this car makes courtesy of 2 10" Phoenix Gold XS Series heart stoppers, a Phoenix Gold XS 4300 amplifier, an Alpine head unit, and a 6 disc Alpine CD changer.

As a total package this Civic is a fine contender and you will be seeing more of it in the near future.
