It was such an afternoon which is so common in Vancouver: Rain, rain, and rain in the morning, and suddenly, sunshine comes out right between the clouds. This is always a terrible weather to any photographers.

No matter how important is your appointment, you can do nothing other than pray. Thanks god, giving me a short, but wonderful sunny break in that afternoon?

This appointment is not an ordinary portrait secession; because the models are not ordinary to myself. Hiroko, she's one of my best Japanese friend, who will leave Vancouver in this summer after graduate. Taking pictures for her is what I want to do not only as a farewell gift for her, but also for my personal reason.

Yukari, she is the cousin of Hiroko from Japan. With all these reasons, I have no way to mess up. Thanks god once again, I think I did a good job for Yukari, Hiroko, and myself too.
