This Club is a venue for students, staff, faculty, and community members to share and further explore their interests of the African continent. This association is an outlet to discuss dynamic questions relating to Africa and the African Diaspora. In addition to exposing the UAF and Fairbanks community to African issues, the Arctic club�s long term goals are to develop initiatives that foster communication and educational exchange with African communities, such as high school exchanges and/or alliances with non-profit organizations. The Association is a way to combine the multidimensional appeal of African issues towards multidisciplinary courses at UAF, such as language, history, dance, political science and literature. |
