"Copy-and-paste"
What is this?

If you don't already know what this does, it simply means that you cut or copy the data you want to use, and place it in another document. Before you can copy the text you must identify it, or simply highlight it. Follow the steps below to "highlight" and save text:

1. Place the mouse pointer before the first character or text you want (i.e. the < on <HTML>).
2. Now press and hold the left mouse button while dragging the mouse pointer to the end of the text or data. (i.e. the > in </HTML>)
3. When you release the left mouse button, the selected area is highlighted.
4. Place the mouse pointer in the highlighted area, right click on the mouse, and select Copy.
5. Now go to the place in the Worpad document where you want to paste/place the information.
6. Place the mouse pointer in that spot and left click once.
7. Right click with the mouse and select Paste. (Make sure you click on Save each time you make changes to your website before you try to view it.)

Super Tip

Copy-and-paste should be your best friend. The most tedious part of HTML coding is the reduntant part of typing the code. You can just copy-and-paste the code and replace the information between. And you can alter the tags as long as you save it.
