Welcome back to Japanese! This is the year where it "gets tough" for most students because it is the year that we really concentrate on learning the 3rd "alphabet" in Japanese: the Kanji. Kanji is a difficult part of Japanese, even for native speakers, so it requires a lot of studying and patience. We will study them throughout the year, and by the end, you will have learned over 200 Kanji!! Amazing, isn't it? Your writing will be much more advanced and you will have a better knowledge of the Japanese history of language!
I hope you'll chug on through and I'm always there for you if you get stuck. Please remember to come to me when you get stuck!
