| Th�oden Race: Man of Rohan Date of birth: 2948 III Death: 15 March 3019 III Parents: Thengel and Morwen Height: Unknown Home: Rohan (Meduseld) Other names: King of the Mark, Theoden Ednew Quote: Th�oden, son of Thengel and Morwen, was born in 2948 of the Third Age. He became King of Rohan in 2980 Third Age, and he was the 17th king of Rohan and the last of the second line. He married Elfhild, and they had a son named Th�odred. King Th�oden was a strong and courageous leader untill he fell under a spell of Saruman through his advisor Grima Wormtongue, who was a secret servant of Saruman. He was healed by Gandalf in 3019 Third Age and led the Rohirrim at the Battle of the Hornburg. Later he and the Rohirrim rode to Gondor and fought at the battel of the Pelennor Fields. When the Witch King arrived at the Pelennor Fields Th�oden�s horse, Snowmane, became wild and stood up on high. He then got hit by a black dart and fell over, with King Th�oden beneath him, and crushed him to death. King Th�oden reigned 39 years and was succeded by his nephew, �omer. |
