Race: Hobbit Date of Birth: Third Age Death: 1420 III (1412 SR) Parents: Blanco and Primrose Bracegirdle Height: 3-4 feet Home: The Shire Quote: Lobelia Bracegirdle (her maiden name) was born somtimes in the third Age to Blanco and Primrose Bracegirdle. She married Otho Sackville-Baggins and they had one son, Lotho. Otho was Bilbo�s cousin, so Otho and Lobelia bacame Bilbo�s closest relatives, and would inherit Bag End, which they eagerly anticipated. But, as Bilbo didn�t like them much, he changed his will and made Frodo his heir. When Frodo left the Shire with the Ring, he sold Bag End to Lobelia and her son. (Otho had died six years earlier) At the end of the War of the Ring, Lobelia bravely stood up to Saruman�s Men when they invaded the Shire. For this she was arrested, but after the War of the Ring she was released to a cheering crowd. When she heard that Lotho had been killed she gave Bag End back to Frodo, and moved back to her relatives in Hardbottle. |
