Th�odwyn was the sister of King Th�oden. �omer had a younger sister, �owyn. He was made Third Marshall of the Riddermark at the age of 26. He was loyal to his king and country and he was also friend with Gandalf. This made him very unpopular with Gr�ma, the kings corrupt advisor. When Th�odred, the king�s son, was slain at the First Battle of the Fords of Isen, �omer became the heir to the throne. Five days later �omer met Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli and decided to aid them.
