Erik is Paul’s older brother. He is a senior at Lake Windsor High School and is a place-kicker for the football team.

Erik is the star of the Fisher family. They moved to Lake Windsor from Houston so that he would have a better chance of getting a football scholarship to a major college.

Erik’s father is very involved in Erik’s life. His father’s main objective is for Erik to play pro-football. Erik sees himself as superior to everyone else. He believes himself to be the best at everything, but when things go wrong he puts the blame on Paul.

No one really likes Erik, including the quarterback of the football team, Antoine Thomas. He only has one friend, Arthur Bauer, who acts more as his goon than anything else. Arthur does all of Erik’s dirty work. He takes the place of Erik’s childhood friend, Vincent Castor, who also acted as his goon. Erik is the key to Paul’s mysterious eye problem.
