Richard McCormick ~Verbena, Twister of Fate
Anti-christrian pegan...who happens to be a stockbroker
He is very pegan, he wants to replace all of the "churches of Christ" with a Roman style religous structure. Like all Verbena he uses blood magick, and anicent magick. Most often noted as he slips off into latin to either bitch or cast. He is also the living embodiment of winter to the Verbena. Is know to talk to spirits, again in Latin.

The Resigned Father Jack Packet ~ Celestial Chorus, burned out
An older, aparently insane priest. A Celestial Chorus mage, who was hit , and knocked out of the umbra (as well as his mind) by the first wave of the Avatar storm and is now trying to get it back together. There are very few things left from which jack can draw power, or focus on,... he holds onto those things with his life,... he hears, and understands everything going on around him, but chooses to ignore that which doesn't interest him, and pretends to be insane, so that he will be left alone to concentrate, and regain his focus..angels and demons still follow him unkowningly.

Leon Blank ~ Cult of Ecstasy, Dissonance Society
A jittery coffee hound, hacker, and Web Development owner. When he isn't out of the city causing trouble, Leon is usually hanging around Chakras Books, or the Bacchus Lounge. He has been a significant Cultist in the city for the last little while. He has been awakened for a couple of years now and knows many of the older residents of the city. He feels some responsibility for Fr. Jack and often tries to look after the old codger. He knows technology, drugs, meditation, and other new age-y things allow people to unlock the creative potential which lies dormant in everyone. Following your bliss can lead to learning the secrets of the cosmos.

Former student of Father Jack who has spent many days searching for him as well as fighting off the factions within her circle of influence that are turning to Hunter groups for protection in these dangerous times.

A man of renoun among the remaining garou of London, he holds true to his failing culture and trys desparetly to tie the old ways of his reserve to the modern potentials so their culture will not die.

Dr. Adrian Smythe ~ Euthanatos
Semi-retired Mage and the owner of a bookshop. 56 years old, Adrian Awakened when he was in Pre-Med. He became a doctor for a while, but left the profession after a difference of opinion. He opened Chakra Coffee and Books, and uses the shop as a convenient location to distribute alternatives to the Sleepers and Awakened alike. He's available at the shop to dispense advice and herbal medicines to any who wish it. He's pretty set in his ways, though, and likes things to stay quiet. The recent arrival of so many new Magi in the city concerns him, and he is afraid it could unbalance the Wheel. He uses a lot of techniques similar to a Hindu Brahmin/Priest, with the addition of all types of herbal remedies. He also relies heavily on the concept of the Cycle. He sees himself as the Angel of Mercy, like the monks of old who would wander battlefields with stilettos, killing out of mercy anyone who could not be healed.

Romaro Tenet ~ Order of Hermes, House Tytalus
Young university professor of occult sciences but is now an Errant Mage. Romaro was part of the Hermetic Chantry in the City. His Mentor vanished during the Reckoning and Romaro left to seek him in the umbra; upon his return he discovered the chantry and his cabal was sundered and has been seeking answers since his recent return. Ancient tomes, words, symbols, names and numbers of power are the keys which hold the secrets to the universe. Romaro will deal with spirit or man to gain new knowledge and use all keys given to him so no door is locked.

Many outsiders are awakend and have fallen through the cracks of the Awakened Society or have managed to avoid the clenches of the Technocracy. Some are lost Dispartes with no guidance or tradition of magic to follow, some have their own societal rules and care not for the foolish mages that cannot see the true magic infront of them. These are the Orphans and Hollow Ones.

Not all mages see a world where all are awakened and are on their own path to ascension. Many follow a dark path, some have been left with only madness to guide them into twilight, or others desire only to rule all of reality through conformity. Theses are those factions that would lead all of humanity away from their rightful paths to ascend.

conformity, structure, and control are the methods they take to ensure 'safety' for all. technology would free the masses and their information if it was not being watched and subduded from its ascending progress.

Joseph Schmucke "Little Joe" ~ Orphan, Warrior-esque
Defender of Magic. Joseph is a double orphan, by both birth and magical awakening. His Avatar is one that tries to protect what mages are left in the world from their enemies...which unfortunately gets his shell killed more often than not. He is accompanied by his mentor, friend and pet Ayla, currently inhabiting a ferret. The Avatar is fanatic in putting itself in harms way to defend other mages, Joseph is beginning to believe... Style wise he is eclectic, like any Orphan. Part Jedi, part Medieval Crusader, part techno-geek, part Tim Taylor. Slowly coming to know more and more about the world and mages places in it...and whom he needs to defend them from and whom he shouldn't.

Awakened when he was 16, he grew up on the streets, forming gangs and running underground opperations. Now an owner of a local club and still running black trade syndicates, he has been in the city for a very long time and has dealt with the Tradition mages for some time now. He is considered extremely connected and never fails to protect all that the mages in the city have worked for.

Bob Smith ~ Unawakened, Sleeper/Sleeper/Sleeper
A medical student on the verg of awakening. Bob's father and mother were divorced shortly after Bob's first birthday. Bob doesn't remember much about him, and in any picture he's always standing slightly apart from his mother, and he wore grey a lot. Bob was a good student, and was raised by his pagan mother to be open minded and understanding to everyone. He won a scholarship to the University of Western Ontario's medical program and is in his third year of a 4 year course for his MD. To any mage that checks (and a few have) His avatar is trying to awaken, but it will probably take a traumatic event of some sort to awaken it. He works at Chakra Coffee and Books where he makes a good cup of coffee. 23 years old, he is a Typical University student.

Ruth Meyers ~ Dreamspeaker, Newly awoken
She awoke on her own by speaking with her dead ancestors. She had known some Dreamspeakers but many have left the area or seem to have gone missing and she has been left to her own devices. She has started hanging out at the local pagan shop run by Dr. Adrian Symthe where he has taken her under his wing in a manner of speaking.

Once upon a time he got involved with Tradition Politics. He walked away and took his lover with him. Now he might be a hunted man by all sides of a dead Ascension war. His lover has gone missing and the only answers might come from the Traditions that drove them both away as he tumbles down a long unknown path to an uncertain end.

Once an apprentice of Romaro, she fell in love during the Ascension war and now is tangeled in a web to thick to struggle out of. She's gone missing just like all of the other Hermetics of London and her whereabouts are undetermined. Location Unknown

Chris Johnson ~ Order of Hermes, New Apprentice
He was the Owner of Mystic Pathways, an occult bookshop on Hamilton Rd. He collected rare Tomes and had been sighted with many other Tradition mages.... he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, where the Technocracy came to ask questions. He awoken when they attack him, destroying a part of his store and was left in a daze. Other Tradition Mages found him and Romaro Took him on as an apprentice.

Master of Forces and head of the Medway Hermes Chantry. An older aristocrat that enherited the Medway Mansion and had taken care of the property for 16 years now. Just after the Reckoning all of the known Hermes that had an involvement with the chantry are missing somehow and a strange force has taken over the Medway Creek residence.

Arianna Delson ~ Order of Hermes, House Shaea
Record keeper of Medway House. The grand library of the Medway chantry was forever under her protection. Her whereabouts are also unknown since just after the Reckoning. Location Unknown

Thomas Kine ~ Order of hermes, House Flambeau DECEASED
A student of Master Bennington and friend to Romaro, Mira, and Arianna. He had been a great worker for Tradition Politics and was well renouned for his devotion during the Ascension War. Now he is missing as well, and there is no trace of where they have vanished to.

Lucien Rowland ~ Order of Hermes, House Tytalus
A Master of Forces and Spirit. He was Romaro's Mentor and friend to his father. Part owner of Medway House, he and Master Bennington fought many battles during the Ascension War and gave sanctuary to many a Mage. Many months ago, he was travelling in the Umbra when the Reckoning began and was lost amongst the first wave of the Avatar storms. Only Romaro has discovered his fate.
