| The Chess Club Killers | |||||||
| Prologue | |||||||
| In a city that was in fiery ruins, the sounds of explosions and gunfire echoed throughout the streets. In this chaos, five people dressed in white were stalking through the ruins. Behind them, was a woman riding on a white vehicle that resembled a motorcycle. | |||||||
| "Spread out! That creep couldn't have gotten far." The woman ordered. Without a word, the five split up and began to search the street. Unknown to them, hidden in a near by alley, a battered man wearing black was watching them. | |||||||
| I have to get out of this nightmare. He thought. He tried to quietly slip into the shadows, but the pile of boxes he was leaning on collapsed in a loud crashing noise. | "Please...I don't want any trouble! I won't say anything... I swear." The man begged weakly. The man in white shook his head. | |||||||
| "Have some dignity. This isn't personal - this is just business." He said calmly. In a majestic motion he drew a sword from out of the darkness and slashed the man in black from his neck to hip. The tired battered man fell dead at the older man's feet. Carefully, he reached down and pulled a bloody plastic card from the man's pocket. | |||||||
| "White king takes pawn - check." He said casually - leaving the dead body to fester in the shadows... | |||||||
