Dr. Gene Puckett, Editor of the Biblical Recorder, came in January 1998 to serve as Pastor in the Interim which continued very successfully for 13 months. February 1, 1999, Dr. Paul Pridgen, III of Columbia, South Carolina assumed the responsibilities of Edenton Baptist Church as the 33rd pastor.
The church voted in February 2000 to construct a larger fellowship hall and activities center on the north end of the Educational Building. Also, in February Dr. Dennis K. McIntire came as Interim Music Director and four months later assumed the responsibilities as Minister of Music. Under the leadership of Dr. Pridgen the church continues to expand its ministries. |
