| Getting Adjusted BD: What unique attribute do you think that each group member brings to Eden's Crush to make it successful? IS: That's hard. Rosanna and Ana bring in...confidence. Nicole...brings in the air of everything will be okay. There's a sweetness and appreciation for simple things like the sun and the air we breathe. Maile and I probably balance things out. We're both Virgos. BD: It's early in the morning and you're in a strange new city. Do you bring something special with you on tour to make you feel at home? IS: I bring pictures of my family, my boyfriend, and a journal. BD: Describe for us what it felt like when you found out that the second verse of 'Love This Way' featured you? IS: The recording studio was so different because I have a musical theater background. It was hard, nerve-wracking. But it felt really good, like someone was understanding my vibes. It's nice to be given the opportunity to show my own flavor of singing, and that it was good enough to be by itself. BD: What is the one question that you are sick of answering? IS: What made you choose Eden's Crush as your name! BD: What is the wildest rumor that you have heard about yourself, or the band? IS: I try not to pay too much attention. I take it one day at a time. BD: What do you miss most about your former life (before Eden's Crush)? IS: I miss my family so much. I would love to come home, have dinner, and go to a movie. The Show BD: Do you think that the show depicted your personalities accurately? IS: It was so hard. They filmed so much for only 22 minutes of air. It's hard to depice exactly who we are. Nothing was scripted, everything was reality. We are huge, goofy people. I'm a huge dork. They could have used a little more of the goofiness. BD: If you could describe Travis Payne in one word, what would it be and why? IS: It would have to be...air, as in a breath of fresh air. Travis was just that! He was always very positive, very helpful. He's no longer with us now though, we have different coreographers. BD: What about David Foster? IS: No BS. What you see is what you get with David. BD: What was the scariest part of the audition process? IS: I've auditioned for a lot of things. You get a call or you don't get a call. I wasn't scared to be told no. The process was like torture. The process of waiting one by one; the drama of going into the little room. You had to understand what they were looking for. They were looking for someone who could be in a group; five girls who could make it. But it was awful to see girls I had grown so close to crying. Whether you made it or didn't make it, it was hard to appreciate it because a friend didn't make it. BD: How did you handle the pressure? IS: Part of it was editing. I cried a lot. I was nervous, but something inside me said, 'If I don't make it, there's something I was meant to do.' I told Rosanna beforehand, 'No matter what happens, I want you to feel happy that you make it even if I don't.' |
