Entry #5 - 12/12/00
Guess what? Finally I felt comfortable behind the mic in the recording studio. Not that I haven't before, but recording "Love This Way" was the first song where I was the most consistent in my tone and breath. Since I am used to performing live, the recording studio was foreign to me. Now, I've learned to use my techniques as a live performer and apply it to the studio. Apparently it worked because Carsten and Joachim, of Great Dane Studios, really liked my sound.
While recording "Get Over Yourself" I am more eager to find my style as a recording artist. The important thing is to stay true to myself and be optimistic.
All in all, I am happy with my progression and the progression of the group. All we need is...a name! |
