| Entry #3 I am really tired...I need a break and this has just begun. It's hard to be a part of a group that has different methods of rehearsing...Actually, it's hard to be a part of a group that sings 24 hours a day. Let me explain...When we get a new song, I rehearse. I rehearse 'til I know what I am doing and I am satisfied. But when we're off - I WANT TO BE OFF! Of course I cannot impose what I feel on my fellow group members, but there are times when I need QUIET TIME! In order to feel normal, I want to have "normal" conversations about the weather, about life and what we feel about it. I do understand that the "no quiet time" issue has a lot to do with no space to rehearse. The only places are in the car, or at the house where you could hear a mouse. I'm not complaining, these girls are great! It just gets hard sometimes. On the whole, things are going great - the group's dynamic is growing and I feel confident that all these minor frustrations will be lost in the midst of a lot of great times. P.S. I get to go home soon - I can't wait to see my family!! |
