Of two little angels, by a wishing well.
One angel dropped her penny in and closed her big blue eyes,
And when she opened them again, she began to cry.
"Tell me what you wished for." Said her little friend.
She said, "I wished that I could live at the rainbow's end.
But when I wished, I realized I would be missing you."
Her little friend said, "Do not cry, I'll tell you what I'll do."
I will drop my penny in and wish the same as you,
Then you will not be alone, for I will be with you."
They hugged each other tightly, and promised there and then,
To stay together always, forever to be friends.
