MONDAY, MAY 28TH
After a long weekend of food, arena football and AAA baseball in Salt Lake City, the crew hit the road for Moab. On the way into town some of us decided to run Gemini Bridges, a fairly short trail that leads to the top of two natural land bridges.

On the way in we passed by "Gooney Bird Rock."

Most of the trail is fairly easy, but there are some ledges near the end that you can play around on.

You can also drive out on to the bridges, which makes for some good photos...

...and some not so good photos.

While coming off the trail John actually sheared a tie-rod end off of his trac-bar, which called for a quick stop by the parts store on the way to the condo.

Checking in at the condo. This place was awesome. There was plenty of room to work in the garage, which came equipped with a small sink, shop towels, and a giant container of Gojo. What else could you ask for?

For some reason, Shawn had a Harbor Freight bolt extraction kit floating around beneath the Xterra passenger seat. After a quick trip to the local hardware store for a $12.99 drill, John had himself back up and running early the next day.
