Occasion Specific Poems

This page contains poems that were written for specific people and occasions. They usually have simple titles including "To" or "For" and the name of person or people the poem is written for. The poem also contains a description of the event or occasion that inspired creating it. I have recently had somewhat of a change of desire in this category after finding several new poems that belong in this category.  The original, signed and printed version of these poems ,and display thereof, will remain the property of the person or persons for whom they were written.  Where possible, reasonable attempts have been made to contact those people regarding inclusion of the poems as a link here, but I've decided to showcase all of them that I have located.  If you recognize one of the works as pertaining to you, and you do not wish it to be published on the web, please e-mail me, and I will do my best to respect your wishes.  Also, if you want to give permission to use them, also e-mail me.  I will indicate after the link those that are used by permission of the recipients.  Ed
