EDCTSA Meeting minutes                                                         Nov 1, 2006

Meeting called to order by President Pat Mulligan. 

October minutes were corrected and approved by board.

Treasurers Report:  $3361.99 

Old Business:

1.      Show Box report:  Pat has separated items into 4 boxes: tests, ribbons, show box inventory and dressage ring. 

2.      S.H.O.W. report: $68.75.  Keep bringing in Southern States Feed proof of purchases to contribute to the S.H.O.W. program!  Country Supply Care Program currently at $23.19.  Don’t forget to use your care code EDCTSA if you order from Country Supply!

3.      The MM December show will use the old tests.  The new tests will start to be used in 2007. 

4.      EZup tent will have to be purchased in the spring.  It is not available at this time; it is currently out of season.

New Business:

1.      Rules/Regs. Committee (Pat, Shari and Tom) met and recommended changes.  The proposed changes will be emailed to the board and presented to the membership for a vote during the annual banquet.

2.      Jennifer will make arrangements for the annual banquet to be held in January 2007.                          

3.      Jennifer made the motion to approve the MM Dec. show.  Chasidy 2^nd the motion.  Motion passed. 

4.      Shari brought up that the Coastal Carolina Drill Team is looking for sponsors for their calendar for $25.00.  Cathy motioned that EDCTSA purchase an ad for the calendar.  Chasidy 2^nd the motion and the motion carried.

5.      Robin brought up if we should keep the library.  Chasidy motioned to keep the library going and Jennifer seconded.  Motion carried.

6.      Teri will be looking into having the EDCTSA Benefit show at Camp Lejeune.

7.      Cathy motioned that the scholarship essay contest to be based on “Your Most Memorable Moment with Horses”.  Chasidy seconded the motion and motion carried.  Christy and Pat volunteered to be on the scholarship committee.
