EDCTSA Meeting minutes                                            January 04, 2006

 

Board Members Present: Jackie Acha, Tom Edwards, Jennifer Stone,

Pat Mulligan, Chasidy Voliva, Shari Weiss-Riojas, Christine Ipock, Cathy Gould

Board Members Absent: Amy McDonald, Jeramie West, Christy Andrews

Members present: Kiki Harris

Guests: Amy Gaston, Christie --, Marie Corona

Meeting called to order by President Jackie Acha.

 

Treasurers Report.  Current: $2128.31

 

Old Business:

 

Banquet:  Tom, Jennifer and Chasidy will help with check-in.   Amy Gaston has offered to do a horse sketch as the club raffle item. 

Pat motioned that $150 be used for banquet decorations and door prizes.  Cathy seconded and motion carried. 

Proposed by-laws and show rules changes that will be presented to the membership were reviewed.

 

 

New Business:

 

Jennifer motioned that Cathy set up a database for keeping track of points from shows.  Shari seconded.  Motion carried.  This will be a tool that can keep track of points through the show season and be published in the newsletter and on the website so that members can track score standing and progress.

 

Amy Gaston offered to have a show on Feb. 11^th at Miracle Meadows.  A possible clinic may be conducted on the Sunday following the show.  Cathy motioned that the board accept and recognize the show.  Jennifer seconded and motion carried. 

 

Pat proposed that more money be added to the scholarship fund.  Item will be brought forth at next meeting.

 

Shari said that she would look into making thank you cards that have the club logo on it.

 

Jennifer motioned to adjourn the meeting and seconded by Pat.

Meeting adjourned.
