EDCTSA Meeting minutes                                                         July 5, 2006

Meeting called to order by President Pat Mulligan.  Previous minutes were handed out for review.  A correction was made to the minutes.  Minutes approved.

 

Treasurers Report.  Current: $1277.29

Old Business:

1.      Country Supply sent check for $52.23 from Country Care.  Remember to use Country Care Code: EDCTSA for a % of purchase to be donated to the club!

2.      Show Box report:  Cathy bought some more items for the box.  There is an inventory list. 

3.      Made around $1100.00 from EDCTSA June 11^th Schooling Show.

New Business:

1.      Pamlico Show, Sept. 30:  Louise Stevens is the show secretary.  Will also have western dressage.

2.      EDCTSA Benefit clinic by Suzin Daly set for Oct. 7^th at Linda Reddoch's farm.  Plan to take video of each ride.  Six rides are available.  Auditors are welcomed; a donation would be appreciated to help with the cost for Suzin's traveling expenses.  Contact Jennifer Stone for sign-ups.

3.      Discussion for fall potluck picnic and yard sale, at Miracle Meadows, put on by Amy Gaston was tabled.   Discussion included that socials in the past have had low turnout.

4.      Robin handed out phone tree.

5.      Discussion held on next year's EDCTSA benefit show to be at a farm. Could rotate farms, or use a raffle system to pick which farm would host show.  This would allow for easier set up and tear down, rather than have it at Onslow Pines Park.  Money from this years show may go towards a pop-up tent or for different scholarships.

 

Next meeting, Aug. 2nd, will be held at McAllister's.
