| A child of ten writes a message for a card to a friend "Roses are red and violets are blue Best friends forever that's me and you." A girl of thirteen creates a little rhyme of flowers and rainbows and soft white clouds just to pass a class. A girl of fifteen has her first break up Heartbreak Alone and undisturbed she pours out her hurt and questions as to why and how to a peice of paper A young woman entering college writes a poem about life and challenges and dreams she hopes to reach Alone and scared a middle aged man sadly says good bye to his wife his lover, his companion and friend with a peice of poetry coming straight from his heart. Old and tired in a rocking chair a woman sites writing to no one of her life and wisdom she's gained. So, what is a poet you ask? The answer is simple. You. July 26, 2001 |
