| OUR INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC CLASS RULES TEACHER: Mirela Pilaf RULES: 1. Be on time, be seated and wait quietly for the class to begin. 2. Be prepared: have your instrument assembled and your music on the music stand. 3. Listen and follow directions the first time. 4. Take proper care of school instruments and school property. 5. Learn and demonstrate self-control and musicianship. INCENTIVE PLAN: Every semester, students who demonstrated compliance to the above rules will have the opportunity to get free ticket to a seasonal concert (Clasic music, Jazz, Pop, etc). LIMIT SETTING ACTS TO BE USED: 1. Proximity 2. Suspend instruction and call name. NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES [Hierarchical steps to be used when limit setting acts are ineffective]: Step 1: Verbal or written warning (the written warning must be signed by parent/guardian and returned next class). Step 2: Time out from the class. Step 3: Lunch detension. Step 4: Removal/Exclusion from extracuricular activities. BACK-UP PLAN [Outside help to be requested]: Step 5: In school suspension. Step 6: School service work. |
