| Flight simulators can emulate almost every aspect of flying, from the primary flight instruments to the navigation displays. Many instructors create missions and evaluate their pupils on how they do. It can also be used as a teaching tool to show students how the airplane will react in certain situations. | ||||||||||
| There are two different types of simulation. One is an actual full hands-on cockpit simulator and the other is a PC-based simulator. The cockpit simulator has interactive buttons and other gadgets that are in a real cockpit, whereas the PC-based simulator has the displays on the monitor with the rest of the picture. | ||||||||||
