HC Hackers and Red Knights to Square-Off for Championship

The HC Hackers in just their second year are now playing to win the MFFL crown against the stout Red Knight squad.  The Hackers put themselves in this position by riding the story of the year in superstar running back LaDainian Tomlinson, who has now set the scoring record in the NFL, breaking Paul Hornung’s record set in 1960.  The Red Knights ran off of a solid foundation of Tiki Barber, Torry Holt, Marvin Harrison and Marc Bulger to sail into the Championship game.

Mojo and Predators stumble into the Stink Bowl

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.  2006 has turned into a Nightmare for the Mojo.  Just one year after shedding the bridesmaids outfits for the Championship crown, the Mojo find themselves staring at the Putrid Porcelain Potty. Ugh!  For the Predators, despite erasing a horrible start in 2006 and then clawing their way back to respectability, they have crashed hard in the playoffs, just tallying an anemic 52 points against the Nightmares.  That performance earned them their ticket to play the Mojo in the Toilet Bowl Championship.

Hackers ride LT’s coattails past Paper Shredders

What a year for LT and the HC Hackers.  Once again, the one-man wrecking crew lead all scorers for the Hackers, this time putting up 32 points.  The Shredders were respectable behind 24 points a piece from Rex Grossman and Steven Jackson, but it still was a disappointment being the top seed.

Harrison’s Huge Night Saves Red Knights in defeat of Lightning Strike

Going into the Monday night game, the Red Knights had their backs against the wall, and Marvin Harrison came to the rescue with 26 points to send the Knights to the Championship.  The Strike were done in by weak performances from Jon Kitna, Antonio Gates and Chester Taylor.  However, Maurice Jones-Drew and Lavaranues Coles did kick in 20 a piece in the losing cause.

Nightmares scare up a win over Predators behind Steel Curtain

Despite their QB being injured and getting 0 points, the Nightmares behind the running of Willie Parker and the stout Steeler D, went on the defeat the Predators and avoid the Toilet.  The Predators just had an awful week.  Not a single player could manage double digits, particularly QB Phillip Rivers, who after a very solid season, just stunk it up with 0.6 points.

Thunderbolts manage to avoid possible 5th TB Trophy with win over Mojo

One of the few bright spots in another disappointing season for the TBolts was Marion Barber III, who scored 21 in the win.  The Mojo must be in shock after coming on so strong at the end of the season only to falter in the playoffs and now face the Predators for the Toilet.

Hawgs Smoke the Crush to take 5th Place 133-77

The Hawgs behind a great game from Michael Vick and another strong effort from Frank Gore take home 5th place.  After getting hacked by the HC the week before, the Hawgs took it out on the Crush.  The Crush got 31 from Peyton Manning and little else.

Packers send Hooligans All The Way To Chinatown !!!

In one of the great MFFL rivalries, the Packers get some revenge for stubbing their toes on the way to the playoffs by tripping up the hated Hooligans to take 8th place.  The best part for GM Jay Gillund is that he will get to remind GM Sean MacDermant at the auction of who is sitting on the left.   Tony Romo and the Packers D came up big in the win.
