ECW WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES
Sid & Jeff Hardy vs. The Dudley Boys(C)

The Dudley Boys have held the ECW World Tag Team Titles a very impressive 3-times. Infact, they have been the most succesful tag team in Extreme Championship Wrestling ever since it opened back in July of 1999. And once it re-opened again, it didn't take long for Buh Buh Ray and D-Von to claim their spot at the top of the tag team ranks once again, as ECW World Tag Team Champions.

After proving Team Canada was no match for them, they threw out an open challenge to ANY tag team in professional wrestling that thought they could take the titles away from The Dudleys. Perry Saturn and John Kronus, known collectively as The Eliminators, answered that challenge. The two tag teams fought in what was a classic on ECW on TNN, but when the two returning ECW superstars hit the Total Elimination, Big Dick Dudley made his return to Extreme Championship Wrestling and destroyed both men. The next card, Saturn and Kronus were kicked out of Raven's Nest, and no one has heard from them since. You could almost go as far as to say, The Dudleys ran The Eliminators out of ECW.

It was this past episode of Hardcore TV that Buh Buh Ray Dudley was booked against Jeff Hardy. The Dudleys, wanting to send what they called the "WWE-washed" Jeff Hardy back to Conneticut, both got involved and put the Hardy boy through a table with their infamous Dudley Death Drop! But Hardy had an ace up his sleeve...SID! Sid charged the ring, laying out both Dudley Boys before driving them both into the mat with a Double Chokeslam!

The Dudleys told Hardy and Sid to come and try to take their titles at Heat Wave. Buh Buh Ray and D-Von are no strangers with Sid, as it was years ago that Sid Vicious came to Spike Dudley's aid and soon became his tag team partner. Will history repeat itself, and will The Dudleys overcome the challenge and hold onto their Tag Team Titles? Or will Sid and Jeff Hardy mix their styles to provide a challenge The Dudleys can't defeat?
