ECWF: The "Next Generation" Era

2003 - 2006

The Old Guard of the EWF has long faded away by now, leaving the superstars who were once rookies to pick up the mantle of greatness and carry it on. As veterans it was their responsibility to represent the coveted championships of the ECWF and bring honor to the federation. The men and women who stepped up to the task faced many challenges, some more dire than those of their Old Guard counterparts. Those who survived through the numerous shut downs and re-openings of the federation during its most turbulent time in history have risen to the accolade of Legends of the Next Generation...

The Next Generation's Greatest Feuds

Jason Spirit Vs Shane Douglas

After being thrust into the limelight when he won the World championship, Jason Spirit found himself representing a struggling company. Previous attempts at placing the World title on a worthy holder failed, so when Spirit won it, Shane Douglas had something to say about that. They met before for the Extreme title, a title Douglas had beaten Jason for and The Franchise would be damned if Spirit would thrive as the leader of the next generation...this is a feud that will never die.

Jason Spirit Vs Ashe Draven

The classic "hero" versus "villain". Jason had been set against Ashe Draven from his arrival to ECWF as Michael Stone's Enforcer. Trapped in a massive game of cerebral chess, Jason fought to help the one person who was innocently caught in the middle of the war between owners...Cassandra Rave. His undying dedication to her safety forced Ashe to do unspeakable harm to him both physically and emotionally...until breaking point.

Brock Lesnar Vs The Sandman

The Rookie versus the Legend. That about sums up Sandman and Lesnar's feud. Brock rose through the ranks of the ECWF faster than any other newcomer before his time. This got on the nerves of the Sandman who fashioned himself the "Welcome Wagon" for every ambitious superstar to set foot inside an ECWF arena. It was a right of passage to get your ass handed to you by the Sandman. Unfortunately Brock did not take his loss in stride. He went after Sandman in many backstage brawls, using his whole stable of Pain Incorporated to assist. The hatred between these two unstoppable forces came to a head and resulted in the booking of a match of Brock's own invention. The Animal Cage, used only twice before, was the only thing which could possibly contain their fury. This was the match that helped make the Animal Cage an ECWF staple to this day.

Pink Vs Holly Wood

It all started when Sandman started seeing Holly, who was notorious for being a cheating slut... Of course her and Alecia already disliked each other from before then, so it only added fuel to the fire. They've had numerous matches against each other, but the street fight that Sandman acted as the referee in had to be these lady's greatest effort to eliminate one another. It ended when Sandman broke a glass beer bottle off Holly's head and counted the pin for Pink.
