Prologue//
Last week on SLAM! John
'Bradshaw' Layfield was supposed to go one on one with 'Big Poppa Pump' Scott
Steiner but just moments before the match was supposed to take place, Chris
Jericho, the man that John Layfield defeated in his first match up in rAW two
weeks earlier, attacked Scott Steiner and locked him in his locker room. Chris
Jericho did this to get revenge on John Layfield, Jericho would take the place
of Steiner in the match up but unfortunately for Chris Jericho he was unable to
extract revenge as John Layfield went 2 for 2 against Chris Jericho but not only
that, Mr.McMahon has made yet another match for Chris Jericho and John
'Bradshaw' Layfield, these two men will go one on one at Unforgiven with the
Intercontinental Championship up for grabs, but first, John Layfield has to face
one of the most impressive superstars in this federation, a man they call Mr.
Kennedy, will JBL's winning streak go for three weeks or will it come to an end
this week on SLAM!?.

�The Bossl� The scene opens up with Amy Weber and John 'Bradshaw' Layfield knocking on the door of Vince McMahon's office in the RAW headquarters in Connecticut

John and Amy open the door

- Ah Mr. Layfield, how are you this evening?
'BRADSHAW' John
Layfield -
I'm great Mr. McMahon how are you?
'THE BOSS'

John thanks for asking....ummm....you don't have an appointment to see me?
Layfield laughs

Layfield continues laughing

Layfield -
Well he has to be....are you on drugs Vince?
'THE BOSS'

- No John I am not on drugs....why do
think I am on drugs?
'BRADSHAW' John
Layfield -
Because for the last two weeks I have had to face Chris Jericho, a man that
isn't even worthy to see the name of John Layfield and now, after beating him
two weeks in a row, you have given him another chance against me, this time with
the Intercontinental Championship on the line!
'THE BOSS'

Well John, that match is two weeks away, you shouldn't focus on Chris Jericho,
you should be focusing on Mr. Kennedy, your opponent for this week on SLAM!
Layfield laughs
'BRADSHAW' John
Layfield -
Even Jericho has more of a chance of beating me and Jericho has
zero chance of doing that! Vince, you tried to put me in a match last week
against Steiner, what is it with you putting me in matches with bleached hair
idiots like Kennedy and Steiner

Layfield points at McMahon

Layfield -
Yeah, you wouldn't be under estimating Kennedy...but me....I can under estimate
who ever I want because as good as they are....I am a whole lot better, that is
why I am undefeated here in Real Action Wrestling, that is why I am going to be
your new Intercontinental Champion at Unforgiven when I beat Chris Jericho THREE
STRAIGHT TIMES! Count them Vince...1......2......3
John Layfield raises three
fingers, one at a time as he speaks

John, I was just saying that Kennedy has been quite impressive over the past few
weeks, he won't be that easy to beat
'BRADSHAW' John
Layfield -
I know Vince, I respect Kennedy, he is great. He is a great wrestler as well,
heck, he may be one of the best in RAW today but the fact is Vince....I AM A
WRESSSSLING GOD!
Layfield looks at McMahon
'BRADSHAW' John
Layfield -
And I am just waiting for the day for you to wake up and see that
for yourself, instead of booking me in matches against Chris Jericho and Big
Poppa Dump Scott Steiner who couldn't even make it to the freaking ring for our
match!
'THE BOSS'

Now settle down John, I am not liking the tone of your voice, don't make me call
security John...
Layfield begins to calm down.

millionaire, great businessman, handsome, talented.

I guess we have both been highly successful in the business world and I can draw
some comparisons between you and me. I'll tell you what John, if you can beat
Chris Jericho at Unforgiven, I'll see what I can do about giving you some
tougher opponents, how about that?
'BRADSHAW' John

Sounds great to me Vince, all I want to do is to prove that I truly am a
WRESTLING GOD! and the only way I can possibly do that is to take on and defeat
the very best you have to offer and I will start on SLAM! against Mr. Kennedy

Kennedy in two weeks at Unforgiven, but when I am finished with Kennedy on
SLAM!, there isn't going to be anything left for Orton a Unforgiven
