Past and present patches from the Montreal Police
L'�cusson de gauche est celui port� par les agents. Celui de droite est beaucoup plus gros et est port� par les chevaux de la Section Cavalerie de la Police de Montr�al.
The left patch is worm by police officers. The right one is worn by the horses on the Mounted Police division of the Montreal Police.
L'�cusson est port� par les rares surveillantes � la d�tention, anciennement appell�es les matrones. Ce poste est abolie par attrition
This patch is worn by a few detention officers, called in the past MATRONES. This position no longuer exists.
L'�cusson est port� par les jeunes policiers aidant au fonctionnement des centre des d�tention (surveillance des d�tenues, empreintes, etc. Les quelques postes restants seront remplac�s par des policiers.
This patch is worn by young officers helping in detention centers (prisonners, fingerprinting, etc). The few remainning positions are being replaced by actual police officers.
L'�cusson est port� par des jeunes en Techniques Polici�res qui ne sont pas policiers encore. Leur travail consiste � aider les policiers dans les postes de quartier, patrouille v�lo, service d'ordres, etc.
This patch is worn by recruits still in trainning. Their work consists in helping officers with desk work in police stations, bicycle patrol, security in special events, etc. They are not police officers yet.
L'�cusson est port� par notre section GROUPE TACTIQUE D'INTERVENTION (GTI).
Patch is worn by our SWAT team.
L'�cusson est ajout� pour les policiers faisant partie du groupe d'Apparat (c�r�monies).
Patch is added to represent officers in the ceremonial group.
L'�cusson est ajout� aux policiers ayant particip� � une mission ext�rieure avec l'ONU.
Patch is added to identify officers that participated in a mission with the UN.
