I noticed a better mileage and a higher top speed. With the fuel consumption of my Elcamino, a tonneau cover will be ever welcome... But the bed shape under the rear window poses problem. Some searchs on the web gave me these results: |

With the trunk lid open, the bed is not more useable as stock. No question now to load a fridge or a large wardrobe! I could think that the pickup is no more a pickup... |

There is no air movement that could grab it. The try is good, when I will feel up to it, I will redo the cover with better quality tarpaulin. August the 8th 2001: Update
