Canada's GDP per capita for 1997 was 20,082 in US dollars. In 1998, the largest export industries were metal manufacturing ( 27% ), chemicals ( 9% ) and mining quarry ( 8% ).

Japan's 1997 GDP, it was 4,192,669 millions in US dollars. Japan's GDP per capita was higher than the other countries. It was a topping 33,262 in US dollars.
