| 1/20-Well, classes started today. It is going to be a rough semester, especially compared to last semester. I'm taking government, economics, history, business communication, and intro to business. The holiday was ok. I went to New Mexico on Christmas and stayed for a week. I had a snow tubing 'accident' while I was there. I'll spare the space and not expound on that. If you're curious, you'll have to ask. Other than that, everything has been rather uneventful. 1/21-Today was a very easy day. All I did was go to aerobics and read. I think I'm going to like having Mondays and Wednesdays off. 1/22-I think I'm going to like my business classes a lot. Government was also a lot better today than it was on Tuesday. Ellen and I had dinner with Dominique. I think she is liking it here so far. That's all for now. 1/23-I don't have class on Friday, so I slept in today. Me, Ellen, Briana, and Alex had lunch, and then me, Ellen, Briana, and Dominique went to the IMAX and out to eat at Bennigans. We had fun. I am going on an apartment tour tomorrow to see if I can find someplace to live next year. 1/24-I went on an apartment tour today. We went to eight different complexes. I saw some really nice ones. I just wish they were closer to campus. I don't know if I want to live in an apartment next year, or if I want my parents to buy me a condo or something. I need to decide soon, or all the good apartments are going to be gone. 1/25-I went to church this morning, and then Ellen and I went to look at condos that are for sale. I found one that I liked. It is close to campus and in a decent area. I still haven't ruled out the apartment idea though. It would be nice to be able to get a furnished place with a washer and dryer in it. I have no idea what I want to do!! I'm so confused. 1/26-I went to aerobics, and then read and did homework for the rest of the day. I did manage to slip a nap in there somewhere though. I'm going to have another long day tomorrow. I go to class continuously from 9:30 to 5:00. Luckily, my day will end with the first yoga session of the semester. I love yoga! 1/27-I forgot that yoga isn't until Thurday this week. Last semester it was always on Tuesday night. Having class all day long is really tiring, but luckily I get most of the day off tomorrow. It will give me a chance to catch up on all my homework and reading. I found some really great apartment deals, but I have to have roommates to get those deals. Living alone is expensive, so I don't know what I'm going to do. I'd rather live alone, but not if it's going to be a lot of money. Oh well. I can worry about that later. 1/28-What did I do today? hmmm....I went to aerobics. My abs still hurt from Monday, so they're going to feel even worse tomorrow. Pain from working out is always good. I'll be ok. I didn't have any other classes, so I just did a bunch of reading and homework. Heather's birthday is coming up. We're going to celebrate her's and mine on Valentine's Day weekend when we are both in Cleveland. I'm afraid there aren't going to be many people to celebrate with, since almost everyone is at college. Oh well. We'll have fun anyway. If you want to celebrate with us please get in touch with me. The more the merrier!! 1/29-Today was a long day. I had class until 3:30. It's very tiring having class back-to-back all day. I took a nap afterwards. Then, I ate, went to yoga, and watched The Apprentice with Ellen. That show is so funny. I also watched A Walk to Remember. It's really sad, but it's good. Tomorrow night I'm going to dinner with some of my parents friends. That should be interesting. I'm also going to see the miniature White House that is on display here on campus. That's all I have. 1/30-I went and saw the model of the White House. It was 60 feet wide, took 32 years to build, and cost over a million dollars. It was really awesome. I went out to dinner with my parents friend. We ate at the Roaring Fork. Then, we went to 6th street and sat at the Iron Cactus waiting for the band at Hard Rock Cafe to start. They were pretty cool. Overall, I had a really good day. 1/31-I went on another apartment tour today. We just went to places that are within walking distance of campus. It ended up being a waste of time because pretty much everything close to campus is old and trashy. It looks like I'm going to have to live further away just so I can get a decent place. Ellen and I went to Target and then to a movie. We saw Win a Date with Tad Hamilton. It was ok (for a romantic comedy). I bought a really cute black purse at Target. I don't know why that matters, but I figured I'd throw it in. |
