November
11/01-My mythology test was ok. I hope my holiday-ruining studying was justified, but I guess I won't know until I get my grade. After psychology, I went to ACC to be advised so I can register on the 15th. I register for UT tomorrow. I looked at the classes I need to take and one of them is full which totally screws up my schedule. I redid the whole thing. I think I like it better because I don't have class on Friday. I can only take 12 hours because of that one class being full. If I take another class to have 15 hours it would just be a random class that I don't need. I really don't want to do that. As long as I get the 2 classes I'm taking at UT tomorrow and the 2 classes I'm taking at ACC on the 15th my schedule will be great. I'm kind of worried about getting the classes as ACC since I register late. I just remembered that tomorrow is election day. I really hope we know the outcome quickly.
11/02-I got the 2 classes this morning at UT that I wanted. I'm in managerial accounting and philosophy. I also found out that I made a 94 on my psychology test last week. I was really happy about that. I went to Wal-Mart and studied. When I woke up this morning I realized it had gotten cold overnight. I think it was 54 when I got up. I wouldn't mind except I have very few winter clothes.
11/03-Bush won the election. I'm glad Kerry conceded so that it didn't turn out like the last election. I have a government test tomorrow. Unfortunately I don't feel like studying at all. I have already studied some so I should be ok. I'll just go over all of it before class tomorrow. I had to go buy a new spiral notebook for history today. That means I've taken 70 pages of notes in the class already this semester. I've never done that in a class. Jill invited me to go out tomorrow night with some friends. I have a lot of stuff to do, but I know that I will want to go after my test. I almost forgot...In psychology today we heard a bunch of sirens and stuff. When we left after class there were 9 firetrucks and 3 ambulances sitting right outside the building. A bunch of people were standing around trying to figure out what was going on, but no one saw anything. I don't know what happened. It was kinda weird.
11/04-My government test went ok today. I hope I get an A. Me, Jill, Vanessa, and Alex went out earlier. It was really fun. We will definitely have to do that again. I have a long weekend ahead of me. I need to study for accounting and history. Both of those tests are on Tuesday.
11/05-I got home from class and took a two hour nap. It was great. I've been making note cards for history and mythology ever since I woke up. This is not going to be a good weekend.
11/06-Today has been miserable. Tonight, as I lay in bed, I will have visions of note cards dancing in my head.
11/07-It has been a miserble weekend. I think I've spent over 30 of the past 48 hours studying. I can't study one more thing tonight. I'll do it tomorrow.
11/08-It's been another miserable day of studying. I can't wait until this time tomorrow. I get to go to the Renaissance Festival this weekend. I hope it's fun to make up for this past weekend.
11/09-My tests are done!!! That was a huge relief. Also, I found out that I made a 19 out of 20 on my psychology paper and an 87 on my mythology exam. I was a little disappointed about the B, but I made a 93 on the last mythology test, so I still have an A. I just have to make an A on the final, which luckily isn't cumulative. I don't have another test until the 22nd. I'm very happy. Today, my history exam wasn't as good as I had hoped and my accounting exam wasn't as bad as I had thought. Overall, neither of them were terrible. I'll worry about my grades later. I'm just glad they are done.
11/10-It was a pretty normal day. I got a lot of reading done, which is good. Hmm...I guess that's all.
11/11-Another boring day....except now my internet doesn't work for some reason. I have to get it fixed soon
11/12-After class I went and lifted weights. I haven't done that in a long time so I'll probably be really sore tomorrow. I really like lifting so I want to start doing it more often. I did a bunch of reading and stuff so I don't have to to worry about it tomorrow while I'm at the Renaissance Festival. I have to go to bed early because I have to get up at 7 in the morning.
11/13-The Ren Fest was really fun today. Ten people ended up going: Me, Ellen, Travis, Dominique, Heather, her sister, Ericka, Michael, Cari, and Christiana. It was really dreary and cold, but it was still ok. The fireworks display at the end was the best. My internet still doesn't work. I'm really aggravated about it. I am also very sore, as I thought I would be.
11/14-I am even more sore today. I think it's because I didn't toss and turn all last night. All I've done today is read.
11/15-Still sore...I'm going to work on my upper body tomorrow. Maybe that will take my attention off of my legs. My internet still doesn't work, but now I know that it's not my computer. I took it to campus today and it worked on the UT wireless network. I'll have to take the router back to Circuit City over Thanksgiving. I realized to day that I have a test in a week. I thought a paper was due in that class, but it isn't due until after Thanksgiving. I tried my first piece of sushi today. It actually wasn't that bad. I may learn to like it one day. I also registered for classes at ACC. I was worried about not getting in them, but now I'm worried about the classes not making.
11/16-What a miserable day I had today.
11/17-It stormed all last night and then our power went out this morning so I had to get ready without lights. When I got home the electricity still wasn't on. I had to go find the breaker box, walk across a ledge to get to it, and flip the main breaker. Luckily that was the problem. My internet still doesn't work. I hope they'll take it back at Circuit City. I have so much stuff to do. I should get started.
11/18-I think the highlight of my day was getting free Mexican food at an event at Ellen's dorm. Other than that I just went to class, read, studied for psychology, and worked out. We only have 3 more days of class until Thanksgiving break! That's great, but I'm going to have to write two papers while I'm at home.
11/19-I went to class and then worked out. Then, Ellen, Travis, Bella, and I went to Wal-Mart. We dropped our groceries off at home and picked up Leah from campus. We went and ate at Olive Garden and then went to the mall. It was decorated for Christmas. I liked so many of the new winter clothes that I saw. All I bought was a pair of jeans. If I had bought any of the nice stuff that I saw it would have been a waste of money because I don't have anywhere to wear it. Oh well. Now I have to study for my psychology test on Monday.
11/20-Jill left earlier today to stay the night in San Marcos with Evan. It's his birthday so she was going to throw him a Sponge Bob Square Pants surprise party as a joke. She even made a Sponge Bob cake and bought Crabby Patty candy. I'm sure it was really funny. I stayed here and studied all day. I really want this semester to be over, but I have so much to do between now and then. I'll be ok, but I'm really worried about accounting.
The rest of November...
