1/10-I went to Wal-Mart today to restock my pantry. I had almost no food left. I also figured out the bus schedule to go to ACC tomorrow. It's going to be weird riding the bus. I just hope I don't miss my stop. It's also going to be weird going to ACC. I'll get used to it pretty quickly though I'm sure. Jill isn't back yet and I haven't talked to her to find out when she'll be here.
1/11-I attempted to ride the bus to ACC this morning, but that didn't work out. I went to statistics and personality. I like both of my professors. I'm worried about statistics just like I was worried about both semesters of economics, calculus, and accounting. Personality should be a good class. It was weird going to ACC. It's a lot different than UT.
1/12-I read the first chapter for statistics and laid around the rest of the day.
1/13-I went to class. Riding the bus worked out this time. I think I'm going to like my professors at ACC. They are really laid back. I also went to the Coop and bought my books for UT.
1/14-Another day of laying around.
1/15-Jill got home today. We went with Vanessa and some other people and watched The Phantom of the Opera and ate. It was fun. I was just glad I had something to do. I actually liked the movie more than I thought I would.
1/16-Jill and I went to Wal-Mart and then we went and ate at Texas Road House with Alex, Maggie, and Vanessa. It was really good. I have spent too much money since I've been in Austin, and I've only been here a week.
1/17-Today I went to CVS and Blockbuster to talk to the manager to see if they got my application that I filled out online. I don't think CVS is hiring, but the manager I talked to at Blockbuster took my name and said he would give it to the hiring manager. Then, me, Jill, Maggie, Vanessa, and three other people went to the basketball game. We beat OSU 75 to 61. It was really fun.
1/18-Last night I was looking for jobs online. I found one and emailed the contact person. She emailed me back this morning to get my resume and class schedule and now I have an interview at 9 in the morning. This all happened a little too fast for me. Well, I need to go to bed because I have to get up early.
1/19-My interview went well today. I have another one tomorrow morning at 8:30 with the owner of the company (HB Media Group). I'm also flying to Corpus Christi tomorrow. It's going to be one hectic day. Oh, and my classes started at UT today. They were both ok. I'm taking accounting and philosophy.
1/23-Well our trip was ok. I learned a new card game and won $20 the first time I played it. That was fun. I'm glad to be back so I can get some sleep before I start my job tomorrow! I went back for an interview on Thursday morning. It was supposed to be with the owner but he had to go out of town. I ended up just filling out paperwork because she offered me the job. I have to be there at 8:30 tomorrow morning. I hope it goes ok.
1/24-Today was my first day of work. It was ok. I just learned about the office and set up my email account. I have to go back on Wednesday morning. I need to go shopping tomorrow and buy stuff to wear to work. I'm really tired. I'm going to bed.
1/25-Briana and I went shopping this afternoon. She helped me pick out a bunch of cute outfits to wear to work. I'm glad she came with me otherwise I doubt I would have found most of the stuff I bought. When I dropped her off I went in and looked at her new apartment. She is really happy about moving. I have to work in the morning so I need to go to bed.
1/26-Work...then class. I guess this is going to become a trend.
1/27-Don't you love waiting for the bus in the cold rain and getting home soaking wet despite your umbrella? That ruined part of my day. Class was pretty good. I actually understood (dare I say liked) statistics today. Personality is usually always good. I cooked a pot of chili for Jill and I, and then she baked cookies for dessert. I don't have class tomorrow so tomorrow is my first full day of work.
1/28-I worked from 9 to 6 today. I did stuff on QuickBooks. It's going to take me awhile to learn it. Nita sent me to get myself a wireless keyboard and mouse and lunch for both of us. Now I'm really tired.
1/29-This morning Ty called me. It was really weird. She said she hadn't talked to me in awhile (like since we graduated) so she got my number from someone. It was nice talking to her though. I laid around all day. I should have studied, but I downloaded a bunch of songs and watched TV instead.
1/30-This weekend has been a huge waste of time. I did go to church this morning, but other than that I did nothing.
1/31-I went to work this morning and got very little done, but it wasn't my fault. Class was ok. I finally got a bunch of statistics done which is great considering I have test on Thursday. It made me feel a whole bunch better. I was miserable this weekend because I needed to do it but didn't.
