2/2-Happy Groundhog Day!! We officially have six more freaking weeks of winter, and I have a statistics test tomorrow. How wonderful.
2/3-My statistics test went ok today. I was surprised. I have to work all day tomorrow so I'm going to bed.
2/4-I worked from 9-6 today. The company got their 8a application approved, so we all went to Pappasitos on the company tab to celebrate. I know no one knows what that is, but it's a very good thing. I felt like I actually did something productive today at work. That entailed making about 1000 copies, but still, it made me feel better. I have a bunch of stuff to do tomorrow, and most of it doesn't include homework. Me, Ellen, and Briana are supposed to be doing something tomorrow night. We haven't decided what yet though.
2/5-I called Ellen at noon today to see if she had thought of anything for us to do tonight. Then I called Briana, and we planned something. After that I went to the mall to buy Heather's birthday gift and a new pair of shoes. I ran into Walker while I was there and we looked for shoes. I didn't find any, mostly because everything I like will be uncomfortable. I don't want to sacrifice fashion for comfort :( Anyway, me, Briana, Ellen, and Travis ended up going to Capital City Comedy Club and then hanging out here for a little while afterwards. I had fun and I think they did too.
2/6-I went to chruch this morning then came home and took a nap. I also went to Northcross Mall to see if I could find any shoes. That was a wasted trip. It is the worst mall I've ever been to. The best part about it is the ice skating rink, and that's almost all of it. I made my weekly trip to Wal-Mart, and then had to go to HEB right afterwards because they were out of the only yogurt I will eat. What sucks is that they were out of it at HEB too. Now I have to eat yogurt all week for breakfast with huge chunks of fruit in it. Overall, this weekend was good. I spent entirely too much money though.
2/7-Another week. I went to work this morning and then class. I actually understood accounting. I get to go home on Friday. Heather's party is on Friday and the dinner theatre at church is on Saturday.
2/8-I made a 103 on my statistics test that I took on Thursday. That was a relief. I really don't want to have to worry about that class. That's what accounting is for! I have a quiz in there tomorrow that I need to study for. It looks like I'm going to have to sacrifice some sleep for it. Today my stats prof told the class about an opportunity for business majors at ACC to take a free business trip to Mexico over spring break. If I can get off work I think I'm going to go.
2/9-Well, losing an hour of sleep to do accounting paid off. I think I made a 9 or 10 (out of 10) on the quiz I took today. I was happy/surprised. I want it to be the weekend, but I have a philosophy test on Monday, so I kind of want it to be Tuesday. I don't know. I'm just really tired.
2/10-I'm glad class is over for the week. Now all I have to do is work tomorrow and then I get to go home. I should study for my test but I really have to wash clothes and pack.
2/11-I just got back from Heather's party. It was fun. We played cards and Guesstures. I have a bunch of stuff to do tomorrow. I should go to bed.
2/12-The dinner theatre was good and the food was WONDERFUL. I need to get those recipes from Connie. Casey played a thief and Dad played a con artist. Ha ha. Heather and I watched 'Little Black Book' afterwards. it was pretty good.
2/13-I'm back in Austin. The drive was miserable. I was tired and the sun blinded me for the last 45 minutes of the trip.
2/14-It's Valentines Day. My mom sent me a plant. It's pretty cool. My philosphy test was ok this morning. I just hope my TA thinks that too. My boss informed me that the company just bought a boat to entertain and I have to find, order, and keep a log book for it. Managers will check the boat out through me and I will follow up with them afterwards to record everything in the log. I thought I was an 'accounting assistant'. Oh well. It's more interesting than accounting.
2/15-All I did today was go to class. I don't have any tests this week so I didn't really have to study anything. I'm sure I'll regret this next week.
2/16-I took a long nap earlier. I should have studied, but I was really tired. If I had stayed awake I probably wouldn't have gotten much done. I just hope I can sleep tonight. I discovered today that my first accounting test is a week from tomorrow. I'm really not prepared for it, which sucks. It's going to take a lot of studying.
2/17-An AC repair guy came today. The air conditioner hasn't been working. He figured out that a breaker had tripped. I could have fixed it myself if I had known that was the problem. I have to go into work at 8 in the morning. I really hope she doesn't make me work until 6 again. I want to stay there for 10 hours tomorrow. I finally took my stilettos to Austin Shoe Hospital. They're going to fix the tips and replace the sole for $18. I expected it to be a lot more. Anyway, I'm glad my shoes will be fixed finally. I need to figure out what Jill is doing tomorrow night. Ellen and Jessy have both invited me out this weekend. I'll have to see.
2/18-I got off work at 4 today, but I still got 8 hours. I went with Ellen, Bella, Lea, David, and a guy I just met named Minh to Madhavi's birthday party at Buca Di Beppo. I drove because Travis is with his dad and grandparents in Burnet. It was pretty fun. Now Jill and Evan are renting a movie and I may watch it with them. I don't need to go to bed too late tonight because I have lots of stuff to do tomorrow and I'm really tired.
2/19-I got my shoes back today. They look great again. Alex, Ryan, Vanessa, and Vanessa's roommate Salina came over and we watched 'The Terminal'. Alex brought a bunch of really great snacks over. We had cheese, meat, crackers, fruit, chips, dip, and some other stuff. It was really good. Earlier, while everyone was here, our neighbor from downstairs came up and he was drunk. He was trying to tell us something, but he couldn't get the words out. It was really, really weird. He's never done anything like that before. Anyway, now I need to go to bed so I don't fall asleep at church in the morning.
2/20-Not only did I not fall asleep in church this morning, I didn't go. I stayed up entirely too late last night. I should have just gone to sunday school. Oh well. I did some homework and went and ran with Jill. That's about all.
2/21-I had a terrible/good day today. My alarm didn't go off this morning for some reason. I rearranged my room yesterday so I must have messed it up when I was setting it after I plugged it back in. I had it set for 6:15 so I could leave at 7:45. I woke up at 7:30. I got ready in 30 minutes and got to work 15 minutes late. It was terrible. Nita (my boss) didn't really care, but she knew I couldn't blame it on traffic because there was none. It's President's Day. I finally made it to class on time despite getting stopped at most of the lights all the way down Guadalupe. After that I had a good day. I was in a surprisingly good mood despite the morning. I had lunch with Ellen, Travis, Andrew, and a girl named Brittany from Splendora that Andrew met in class.
