DAY 9:

Jan 3, 2002

There are still 5 pups, you can see JG122601-04F beside JG122601-01M's head. They are getting too big for their parent's food cup! Its also getting nearly impossible to keep them still while they are awake.

DAY 11:

Jan 5, 2002

They are quite impossible to keep in one spot as you can tell by the runaway gerbil (JG122601-03F) in picture 2.

Day 15:

Jan 9, 2002

Its not getting any easier to keep them all in one place! They can stand on all four legs now and can very swiftly make themselves scarce right before my camera takes the snapshot :). I have taken a liking to JG122601-03F, she is a very calm girl and will gladly take a long nap in my hand. They all attempt to dig into the cracks between my fingers, and have even seen the black ones nibbling on a piece of papertowel in their nest. They can all clean their faces with their paws, and are curious about anythihng they can smell. JG122601-01M has even learned to sit on his butt while sticking his nose in the air in an attempt to smell whats going on - I've named him Sylvester because he has coloring almost exactly like an animated cat by the same name :). I can't wait til their eyes open!
