| My Magickal Name is: Luna-Star Xylia My Star Sign is Scorpio. My Celtic birth animal is the Owl. Gaelic Name: Cailleach-oidhche (Approximate pronunciation: Kall-eeck Oheeche.) My Native American Birth Totem is the Snake. I am a Poet and Stay- at-home Mom (SAHM). My husband and I Home school our 3 Daughters . I am most happily married to man who is a Pagan-friendly Eclectic- Christian. Becoming a tad Christo-Pagan of late. LOL I myself am very Eclectic in most all things. My Path and Faith are not easy to explain. But hopefully you shall get to know me better from viewing this website. I find myself drawn to God and the Goddess in the form of the Luna (Moon) Goddess and Brigid, the Irish Celtic Goddess. Also the Hebrew name for the Spirit is Shekinah, a female Goddess. I began my Year and a Day in August 2003. I am studying under a Priestess of Pantheistic Wicca (which originated from Sacred Grove in Ohio). I am very serious about my Faith, and my Path. We, as a family, are currently owned by: 5 cats, 2 dogs, a guinea pig and a parakeet. I love all animals. And respect their rights. I am an arm-chair activist currently. =) As for wildlife animals, I especially love Moose, Wolves, Owls, Eagles, Hawks, Ravens, Bats and Dolphins. And am learning to like Snakes. I have always been attuned to the Moon, Weather and various other things in nature from early childhood. Magick is not a game to me; I am very serious about it. But I can find humor in "Life". Without a good sense of humor I'd long since perished! I have the ability to laugh at myself and I believe that I am a strong woman and a true survivor. I have a strong Celtic heritage and background, thus my family and I hope to visit all the Celtic countries someday soon. I have a calling and/or leaning towards the Healing Arts: Reiki and Herbs. My intentions are to train under a Reiki Master, and also with a Herbalist through Workshops and Online Correspondence. My hope is to become a free-lance Writer, "When I grow up!", as my youngest daughter said to me one time.. *smile* I write poetry and journal. I read voraciously, love history and am intrigued by Medieval and Renaissance Faires, etc. I like to crochet and love herb lore. I enjoy good movies and Sci-Fi & Fantasy. I admit I am a "SG-1", "Enterprise, "Monk", "Angel" &"Buffy" fan. My Vegging time. A hobby of mine is Researching the Web and in Books my many and Eclectic interests. Being there for my family is a strong point because I am very much a Nurturer. My husband and I are beginning the Journey called tAdoption as well. We have a lot of love to give,and hope to share our lives with others. And give back to the community and our Mother Earth...as we have been given to and blessed by Her and others. ~So Mote it Be~ |
