| Ms. Kalley is a 3rd Grade teacher at South View Elementary in Muncie. Having only taught an actually classroom for 5 years, Ms. Kalley has worked with many different ability students for close to 20 years. She has been an aide, a tutor and a mentor for students of all ages. Pictured with Ms. Kalley is my son, Andrew. Andrew was in Ms. Kalleys class last year..that was the year he learned that Autism doesn't mean stupid and that success is only achievable if you believe in yourself and others believe in you too. It was also the year of building friendships for him...Ms. Kalley made it possible for other students to get to know him...for him As Andrew's mother, I've only met maybe one or two other teacher's that I would ever say was the reason my son is as successful as he is today. And I know for fact she has made a huge difference in the lives of many many students in her years of teacher and mentoring. Kathy Vermeulen and I weren't the only ones there to show her how much we appreciate and admire her...
