Jean-Rony Pierre is a nine year old Haitian boy
that the French students along with the French Club
members are sponsoring. He is from the small country of Haiti.
Haiti is located on the Western third of the island
of Hispaniola in the Caribbean.
Life is hard in rural Haiti, where most families live on less than
$100 a year. Education and adequate healthcare are
precious but rare commodities.
The French Club has taken it upon themselves to help
provide these services to the small boy that has become
so special to us. We recieve letters from Jean-Rony regularly.
He keeps us up-to-date with his status in Haiti
and often thanks us for our support.
