| Echo Stone is a free web site created to bring acurate information on the Pagan and Wiccan faiths to all who are interested. |
| While rummaging the World Wide Web I discovered that most of the decent information on my religion wasn't free. There was always a "for $19.95 you can get..." attached to the begining of anything that looked to be even mildly decent information that could get me anywhere. And if it wasn't online, it was from writings spawned from the hands of "Fluffly Bunny" authors that didn't seem to be compatible with any of the ideas I had been raised to believe that Wicca and Paganism embodied. I agree that views and ideas change over periods of time and I agree with the necessity of money in this day and age. Nothing is free. But Paganism and Wicca have been exploited recently by this need, and the lack of true study involving the ancient ways. So, mildly preturbed by this discovery, I have decided to take it into my own hands. Hence became Echo Stone. Born of my own personal Book Of Shadows, Lore from my family and the family of friends, and alot of extensive research- both online and off, Echo Stone is here solely to bring FREE and accurate information to anyone willing to simply learn. No "and's, if's or but's". No "With $19.95 you could". Free information that is as accurate as I can get it. My only price? A signature in my guestbook or a simple "Thank you". |
